Amalia was born and has grown up in Germany, she has graduated from the General Lyceum of Lüdenscheid. She is also graduate of the Department of Social Theology and currently studies in the Department of German Language and Literatureo of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. 

Amalia has been working for the last twenty years in the translation and editing of texts and in interpretations field and is specialized in the language pairs German-Greek and English-Greek and vise versa. She has cooperated with a variety of translation companies in Greece and abroad. She has translated books, articles and presentations, emphasizing in the education field. In the interpretation arena, she has conducted interpretations from German to Greek and vise versa for high officials of the Greek Government, representatives of the Greek State and officials of the Institutions of the European Union. Among others, she has carried out interpretation tasks for the Chancellor of Germany in 2015, for the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2018 and 2019 and for the European People’s Party in 2015.

She teaches students and adults and prepares them for candidature for acquisition of certification in German and English. Between the years 2011 and 2019 she had been teaching German in the Representation of the European Union in Athens. She always continues to be updated and applies vocational education.
